Authorities in Washington state confirmed that a body recovered during a search operation in the Okanogan River area has been identified as Matthew “Matt” Brown, a reality television personality known for his appearance on “Alaskan Bush People.”

Officials stated that the identification was completed by the county coroner after recovery efforts concluded. According to the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office, the search began near Oroville after a 911 call reported a man seen in or near the river.
